Friends of the Hawera Hospital

A community group to support retention of physicians/medical officers for hawera Hospital has been proposed by both the Hawera Hospital Steering Committee and the South Taranaki Health Group. It's relationship to these groups, and the old Hawera Hospital Intensive Care Trust has yet to be established.

 Meanwhile some functions, such as finding quality accommodation for newly arriving Medical Officers and families is being co-ordinated by Neil Walker [STHG & Steering Committee] and Toby Hall [STDC].
